The Zambezi Helicopter Company partners with M.A.R.S. (Medical Air Rescue Service) and various other medical air rescue organisations to deliver vital medical evacuations and case vac services during emergency situations in the remote areas surrounding Victoria Falls.

This involves landing in the beautiful Batoka Gorge and Zambezi National Park to help with any accidents and safely transporting injured people to medical facilities in Victoria Falls or Hwange, which is about 100km away, if necessary.

This involves regular training with the M.A.R.S. team on safely loading and unloading injured individuals, as well as ensuring helicopter safety during approach and departure. This way, everyone stays prepared and confident in these important procedures.

If a medical emergency impacts your flight, there's no need to worry — they will reschedule it for you.
