Introduction

Following considerable anticipation, the 528 Victoria Falls Guest House formally commenced operations in December 2018. Over the course of more than a year, diligent construction professionals invested their efforts into meticulously developing the establishment into a distinctive and inviting property.

Owners Meredith and Paul truly dedicate their hearts and souls to this charming guesthouse. They transformed it from a run-down old house into a beautiful, stylish, and elegant lodge. It exudes personality across all three floors, decorated with quirky designs and fascinating artefacts that invite curiosity and warmth.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel welcomed by a tranquil green environment. Beautiful gardens surround the main building, and in front of the guest house, there’s a charming, sparkling swimming pool that enhances the inviting atmosphere.

Their cosy twin and double rooms are perfectly situated on the first two floors, each offering lovely views of the gardens. For families or small groups, they also have two spacious triple rooms available. Every room boasts a modern, stylish bathroom with charming bronze washbasins and refreshing showers framed with beautiful hand-carved screens, ensuring your stay is as comfortable and delightful as possible.

Neutral and earthy tones beautifully set a calming atmosphere, while cheerful splashes of bright colours add a lively touch throughout the lodge. As you walk inside, passing by the charming pond, you’ll be greeted by a cosy and inviting foyer filled with a lovely blend of wall art and interesting wallpaper that makes you feel right at home.

The primary dining area, designated for breakfast service, is illuminated and vibrant, owing to impressive artwork and expansive glass windows extending to the high, double-level ceiling. From this inviting space, guests may exit through the doors to appreciate the patio, the verdant garden, and the shimmering swimming pool.

You’ll discover cosy lounges and welcoming patios spread throughout, providing charming spots to read, relax, and have enjoyable conversations. One of the highlights is the delightful “Treetop Bar” on the third floor, where you can soak in stunning views above the treetops, extending all the way to the Zambezi River and the distant Zambia. It’s an ideal place to enjoy sundowners and, as evening sets in, gaze up at the magnificent African night sky.
