My name is Roland Matchett, and I am the founder of Discover Zimbabwe Trip Planner.
Although I currently live in Ireland, I previously lived in both Zimbabwe and South Africa.
My personal experience and deep connections in these regions mean I truly understand the destinations I’m helping you discover.
It’s important to know that Discover Zimbabwe is a Trip Planner, not a booking website.
Our goal is to help you plan your ideal trip, not to make bookings directly on the site.
Here’s how Discover Zimbabwe’s trip planning process works:
Create Your Trip Plan: Log in and select the accommodations and activities you’re excited about for your upcoming adventure!
Submit Your Enquiry: After making your selections, your trip summary—including your details, number of adults and children, chosen properties, total nights, and selected activities—will be sent directly to me at Discover Zimbabwe.
Personal Review: I personally review every enquiry. Sometimes I’ll reach out for a quick chat to better understand your preferences and ensure everything is perfect.
Agency Coordination: Only after my personal review will your enquiry be shared with our trusted travel agencies. These agencies will confirm availability for your dates, provide current pricing, and contact you directly to finalise your plans.
With my hands-on approach and local expertise, you’ll enjoy a smooth, informed, and personalised trip planning experience from start to finish.
