Self-Catering River Chalets
Their main camp features five charming chalets nestled along the beautiful Zambezi River. Each cosy retreat welcomes up to six guests and comes thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need—stove, fridge with freezer, and complete crockery and cutlery —making your stay truly comfortable. Plus, with their inviting bar and well-stocked kitchen, they’re ready to cater to your every desire—bring yourself! And don’t worry about ice; it’s available too!
Full-Board Chalet
They also offer a cosy two-bedroom en-suite chalet that is fully air-conditioned, designed without self-catering facilities. Nestled at the back near the swimming pool and water hole, Chalet 7 features two bedrooms, each with two comfortable single beds, and a private en-suite shower and toilet. This setup offers a relaxing, convenient retreat for guests.
Family Unit
They’ve just completed a charming new air-conditioned family unit, featuring three cosy bedrooms, each stocked with two beds. The spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area invite you to relax and enjoy meals together. A charming bathroom featuring a bath and shower provides comfort, while an inviting veranda with a braai area is ideal for outdoor gatherings. It's quickly become a favourite spot, especially for guests looking to escape the heat and unwind in style.
National Parks fees are payable at the Marongora National Parks office or at Chirundu.

Deposits
- Deposit Requirements: Standard bookings usually require a 50% deposit upon confirmation, with the balance due 30 to 45 days before arrival (stricter during peak safari season).
Terms & Conditions
- A minimum deposit of 50% is required when you present the invoice to confirm a booking. Provisional bookings will be held for up to 7 days.
- Full payment for Tiger Safaris Chirundu is required before the departure date.
- Cancellations made within 3 months before the booking date are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations made from 3 months to 20 days before the booking date qualify for a 50% refund.
- Cancellations made within 21 days of the booking date will not be eligible for refunds.
- If a booking remains unconfirmed 20 days before travel, Tiger Safaris Chirundu reserves the right to cancel the booking without notice.
- Tiger Safaris Chirundu is not responsible for delays due to weather, mechanical issues, or other uncontrollable events. Refunds will not be issued for unused nights or boat hire.
- The resort is not responsible for guests' behaviour during their stay.
Please check in at the office upon arrival and settle all fuel and additional charges before departure. Fuel will not be accepted as payment.
