How to Reach Chikwenya Camp
- Self-drive guests can enter Mana Pools via the Marongora office, using only 4x4 vehicles to reach the camp.
- Private air charters are available from Victoria Falls, Hwange, or Harare directly to Chikwenya Airstrip.
- The airstrip transfer to camp is approximately 10 minutes by vehicle, depending on wildlife sightings en route.
It's just 19.5 km from Victoria Falls Airport (VFA) to the charming town of Victoria Falls, making it a quick and easy trip to start your adventure.
For the quickest and easiest access, consider taking a scheduled daily air charter from Victoria Falls, Mana Pools, or Hwange National Park.
If you're travelling from Harare, a private air charter might be your best option since there are no scheduled flights. The nearest airstrip is at Fothergill Island, just a short and scenic boat transfer away.
