Getting there is quite an adventure!

It’s just 140km along a sandy road from Maun, which makes for a very scenic drive.

If you love flying, you’ll be pleased to know that Xakanaxa Airstrip is just a short 20-minute drive away, or about a 25-minute flight from Maun. Alternatively, you can enjoy a scenic 75-minute flight from Kasane.

Accommodation

Camp Moremi warmly welcomes you with 12 beautiful, modern thatched safari tents, including a cosy family room that accommodates up to 24 guests. The family room, featuring two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, is connected with interleading doors for added convenience.

Each spacious tent features large bathrooms with double vanities and showers, along with private decks offering stunning views of the Moremi Game Reserve. Soft décor and gentle lighting create a natural, inviting atmosphere, blending seamlessly with the beautiful surroundings for a truly peaceful, harmonious experience.

The Camp

Camp Moremi’s welcoming communal spaces create a warm and inviting atmosphere. You’ll find a cosy sunken bar beautifully designed around a large termite mound and an ebony tree, adding a unique and charming touch.

There’s also a spacious lounge with elegant brass accents and soft finishes that flow into a lovely library and a private deck where you can relax.

These cosy areas, including a lovely elevated dining space, are connected by a charming boardwalk that guides you to the camp’s inviting fireplace.

Plus, there’s an open-air boma and a private, secluded swimming pool, making these public spaces even more special and alluring.

Activities & Wildlife Sightings

Guests can enjoy a variety of activities, from morning and afternoon game drives through the diverse ecosystems of the Moremi Game Reserve to exploring the beautiful Xakanaxa Lagoon and its surrounding channels by boat.

Motorised Boat Safaris

The birding is spectacular, particularly in spring and summer when migratory species are breeding.

Xakanaxa Airstrip

If you prefer flying, Xakanaxa Airstrip is just a 20-minute drive away and about a 25-minute flight from Maun, or you can opt for a 75-minute flight from Kasane.

  • Campfire: Open-air fire deck in front of camp, connected to the main area by a raised boardwalk.
